William Alexander Goggans S.A.R. Grave Marking Ceremony

On June 2, 2007, the Casimir Pulaski Chapter held a grave marking ceremony honoring patriot William Alexander Goggans. Patriot Goggans fought in the Revolutionary War, was wounded three times, and was left for dead on the battlefield on one occasion but survived the war. The ceremony included speeches by various officials and descendants of this American patriot. The event occurred at patriot Goggans burial site in the cemetery at Bethany Baptist Church in Tallapoosa, Georgia.
