Sons of the American Revolution

The Casimir Pulaski Chapter, Georgia Society, Sons of the American Revolution, is a part of the National Society of the Sons of the American Revolution (SAR), founded in 1889.  SAR is a non-profit, non-partisan organization dedicated to promoting patriotism, preserving American history, and promoting education to our future generations.  The chapter's name is in honor of Revolutionary War hero Casimir Pulaski.  For more about him, go to the History page of this website.
As the largest male genealogical society in the country, SAR has tens of thousands of active members in over 550 chapters, such as the Casimir Pulaski Chapter, across the United States and internationally.  Any man 18 years or older-regardless of race, religion, or ethnic background-who can prove blood lineal descent from a patriot of the American Revolution, is eligible for membership.  The Casimir Pulaski Chapter meets monthly.  For more on our meetings as to dates and location, click Meetings and Map/Directions.
